We minimize data collection. We never sell your data to third parties. Your business information stays yours. Period.
1. Information We Collect
EWEPIP collects only the information necessary to provide our services. This varies by feature:
- Account creation: Email address and password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
- Marketplace: Product listings, business name, and contact info you choose to publish
- POS system: Transaction data stored locally on your device or your own database
- Social Suite: Posts, comments, and interactions you create publicly
- Talk to EWE: Chat messages are processed for responses and not permanently stored
We do not use third-party analytics services like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar. We do not employ browser fingerprinting techniques.
2. Client-Side Tools
Many EWEPIP tools run entirely client-side in your browser. Business calculators, pour cost tools, pricing calculators, and planning features process data locally. When you close the browser tab, that data is gone unless you explicitly save it to your account.
Some tools may optionally use your browser's localStorage to save your work between sessions. This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
3. Marketplace Data
If you sell on the EWEPIP marketplace, the information you include in your listings (product details, pricing, business name, location) will be visible to all visitors. This is by design so buyers can find you.
Transaction data between buyers and sellers is processed through our payment system and stored securely. We retain transaction records as required by law for tax and accounting purposes.
4. POS System Data
The EWEPIP POS system is designed with privacy-first architecture:
- Transaction data can be stored entirely on-premises on your own hardware
- Customer loyalty data is opt-in for your customers
- Employee management data is accessible only to the business owner
- Pour cost and inventory data never leaves your control
5. Talk to EWE AI Assistant
When you interact with EWE, our AI assistant, your messages are sent to our AI service for processing. These messages are:
- Not stored permanently after your session ends
- Not linked to any advertising profile
- Not used to train external AI models
- Not shared with any third parties
Do not share sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, passwords, financial account details) with EWE or any AI assistant.
6. Social Suite (PipChirp, PipTube, PipHerd, PipStream)
Content you post on our social platforms is public by design. Your posts, comments, videos, streams, and community contributions are visible to other users. You can delete your own content at any time.
Direct messages are private between participants and are not monitored or sold.
7. Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Payment processing: Transaction data shared with payment processors to complete purchases
- Legal requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or court order
- Service operation: With infrastructure providers necessary to run our services (hosting, database)
8. Cross-Domain Ecosystem
EWEPIP is part of a larger ecosystem including talentliberation.org, company.ewepip.net, upip.academy, and kuckledragger.com. If you create an EWEPIP account, your identity can optionally be shared across these domains via our OMNIA single sign-on system for convenience. You can use any domain independently.
A shared navigation bar may appear on our site linking to these other domains. This component does not track your activity across domains without your explicit login.
9. Data Security
We protect your data with:
- HTTPS encryption on all connections
- Passwords hashed with bcrypt (never stored in plain text)
- JWT-based authentication with secure token handling
- Database access controls and role-based permissions
- Regular security audits of our codebase

12. Children's Privacy
EWEPIP marketplace and business tools are intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

If we change this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new effective date. Our commitment to never selling your data is foundational and will not change.
