How long does it take to earn my first hardware? +
It depends on your transaction volume. A business processing $10,000/month on the Liberation tier (15% corridor fee of 2.9%) would accumulate about $43.50/month toward hardware. That's a PIP Badge in under a month, and the full ROMAN Hub in about 20 months.
Do I lose progress if I upgrade my tier? +
Never. Your hardware credit balance is permanent and separate from your tier. Upgrading to a lower-fee tier just means future credits accumulate slower (because your fees are lower), but you keep everything you've earned.
Can I choose a different order for hardware? +
Yes! The timeline shows a suggested progression, but you can skip devices. If you don't need a receipt printer, save your credits toward the display or ROMAN Hub instead. You unlock all devices you've passed the threshold for.
What if hardware breaks or needs replacement? +
All granted hardware includes a 2-year warranty. If it breaks under normal use, we replace it free. After warranty, you can use accumulated credits toward a replacement, or continue using third-party hardware with EWEPIP.
Is this really free? What's the catch? +
No catch. The corridor fee you're already paying (a portion of your transaction fee) funds the hardware grants. We buy hardware in bulk at cost, so we're not profiting on the hardware itself. It's a loyalty program that gives you tools instead of points you'll never use.
